Happy July! Here is our monthly newsletter to help keep our pup parents up to date! These will include closures, important updates, reminders, and monthly activities. Thank you all for staying involved in what we do to keep your pups happy and healthy.

Summer Weather Alerts
It is important to know that Blue Collar Doghouse daycare is an indoor/outdoor facility year-round. While we will always prioritize and monitor for safety, it is important to know the risks of your dogs attending daycare during high risk/advisory weather conditions. We use umbrellas, fans, sprinklers, ice, misters, kennel breaks, and pools to keep our pack cool in the summer months. If you know your dog is high risk for heat exhaustion or has trouble self-settling, consider leaving them home during heat advisory conditions. Mushers paw wax is a great tool for dogs with sensitive pads, especially in the summer months! Any dog showing concerns of heat exhaustion will be called upon to go home and be kenneled with fresh water until departure.

July Activity Calendar:
Activity prices vary while most smaller events will average $5 and larger events will range $10-15 based on inclusions. Participation in extra events is always optional, and all dogs in daycare are ensured to have a day full of love, care, and enrichment 💙

Ball Pit Day: The Ball Pit Enrichment Event at Blue Collar Dog House introduces a fun and stimulating activity that combines sensory exploration with play. Dogs will enjoy diving into the colorful ball pit, which encourages natural curiosity, improves coordination, and provides mental and physical enrichment.
Sniffari: The Sniffari event at Blue Collar Dog House introduces scent work into our daycare program, providing a stimulating and enriching experience for your dogs. Scent work taps into their natural instincts, helping to build confidence, improve focus, and enhance problem-solving skills. It offers both mental and physical exercise, which can tire dogs out in a healthy way while reducing excess energy and stress. To make the experience even more engaging, our Sniffari now includes a photoshoot and puzzle toys with limited ingredient treats. By incorporating scent work and these fun activities, we aim to promote overall well-being, encourage natural behaviors, and create a fun and engaging environment where dogs can thrive both mentally and physically.
Scented Bubbles Day: Scented Bubbles Day at Blue Collar Dog House offers a delightful and engaging sensory experience for your dogs. As they chase and pop the fragrant bubbles, they’ll enjoy mental stimulation, exercise, and the natural joy of exploring new scents.
Birthday Pawty: We're excited to host a birthday party for all our pups celebrating in July! Dogs with July birthdays will enjoy a complimentary Pupcup and a fun photoshoot to mark their special day. It’s a lively event full of love, tasty treats, and plenty of wagging tails!
