Grooming Services

We aim to provide low stress, high quality grooming by booking a private slot for each and every dog! Shortly after arriving, their designated groomer will take them through the entire process of bathing, drying, brushing, and trimming, aiming to build trust and confidence. Being appointment based, we are not set up to house grooming dogs for long periods of time once their groom is complete. Each client will be given a 15 minute 'heads up' notification, aiming to eliminate or at least minimize time spent in a kennel once their grooming is complete.

Please understand booking grooming appointments is not available on Gingr. To book grooming, use the button below to fill out the proper booking form, we will be in contact within 24-48 business hours.

Important Grooming Policies:

  • Vaccination Policy: All dogs must be fully vaccinated with Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. It is the clients responsibility to keep these records up to date.

  • Late Arrival Policy: Drop-off grooming dogs who arrive more than 15 minutes late will be cancelled and a no show fee will be applied.

  • Disrespectful behavior and language: We have a zero tolerance for rude or disrespectful behavior from clients, our employees work very hard and deserve to be treated with respect. This behavior will result in a permanent dismissal from our business.

  • Day Stay Fee: Any dog that stays over 45 minutes after being sent the "ready for pick up" text, will be charged a $25 day stay fee. We operated on an appointment based system and do not have room to house grooming dogs after their appointments.

  • No-Show/24 Hour Cancellation Policy: We require 24 hours notice for cancellations to avoid a fee. A $25 dollar cancellation fee will be placed on your account and must be paid prior to booking your next groom. After 2 late cancellations, the full price of the groom must be paid prior to booking your next groom. We understand that things happen, exceptions will be made for true emergencies. We appreciate your understanding of the heavy impact late cancellations have on our business and appreciate your continued support.

  • De-Matting: While we will do our best at dematting, please understand that there is a limit to what dogs can tolerate. With this, we will often offer a dematting procedure once, however, if it happens again, the groomer has full discretion to do what is best for the dog. If we feel that shaving the dog is best, we will ask you first. If you are set on dematting, it is possible we will ask you to find another salon willing to do so. Again, this is always in the best interest of the dog. If there is any unforeseen matting, a dematting fee of $10-20 applied at groomers discretion. Our groomers will do their best to inform you at check-in.

  • Fix-up Policy: We understand that communicating the groom you are expecting can be tough, and miscommunications between client and groomer are always a possibility. With this, we are proud to say that we offer a 72 hour fix-up policy. If you are unhappy with the groom, or would like an adjustment, please just let us know within 72 hours of your appointment and we will do our best to make it right. We take pride in our work and hope to have you feel this as well!

  • How much do you charge for grooming?
Please visit the grooming page for our estimated pricing. Please be aware that prices are subject to change.
  • I want my dog to be groomed, but they do not need a bath, is there a discount for this?
There is no discount on grooming for clients who request we do not bathe the dog prior to grooming. The reason for this is that it is actually more difficult to groom 'dirty' hair and therefore does not take less time.
  • I want to get the same groom as last time, do you have notes?
We take extensive notes during our grooms. Please keep this in mind when you come in for your next groom! Simply asking for the same cut as last time is very helpful for your groomer.
  • My groom's price is higher this time, is that normal?
Please understand that grooming prices are subject to change from appointment to appointment. There are many factors in pricing which tend to fluctuate between grooms. These factors include but are not limited to: coat condition, size of dog, behavior, duration between grooms, and fragility of the dog. You can find our starting prices on our grooming page, as a reminder these are a base price estimation.
  • Why does my dog have a rash after their grooming appointment?
Every dog is different and it is always possible your dog may have a reaction to shampoos or conditioners. Our go-to shampoo is a hypo active shampoo that is gentle on the skin, we also have a no soap, fragrance free shampoo that is available upon request for dogs with major skin conditions or dogs that have very sensitive skin. For more information on the products we use, visit https://envirogroom.com/
  • What products do you use?

  • Can my dog get injured during grooming?
The short answer is yes. While unlikely, there are injuries that can occur during the grooming procedure. Some common injuries during grooming are: hair in the eye which can lead to eye irritation, corneal laceration, or corneal ulcers if left untreated. Consider getting a hair stuck in your eye and not having any ability to get it out, so you rub, rub, rub your eye because it is irritated and itchy! The hair can cause an abrasion on the eye which can progress into an issue if they are allowed to scratch at and agitate their eye further. If your dog is scratching at their face/eye after their groom, examine the eye to ensure there is no hair or other foreign material causing the agitation. If you do not see anything, please put a cone on your pet to ensure they are unable to scratch at their face, and call your veterinarian for further advice. Other injuries that can occur are minor scratches (clipper burn), or splitting of the skin. This often happens when we need to remove mats from their coat. The longer mats are left, the closer they grow to the skin and this makes it increasingly hard to remove them without pulling on the skin itself. We will often have owners sign a waiver stating they acknowledge this risk if their dog is overly matted at check in. Lastly, our groomers do hand scissoring around the face and go very slowly to ensure nothing is clipped in the process. There are dogs that obsessively lick or smack during the grooming process and it is always possible that excessive movement could cause minor cuts and scrapes from the clippers or scissors. While this is very uncommon, we believe in transparency and ensuring that clients are educated in all aspects of grooming.
  • Will you groom my sedated dog?
Yes, we just ask that they are still alert and able to stand. Dogs that come to us overly sedated can be difficult and even unsafe to groom.
